What guidance and support do you give?
You will have a dedicated editor who will strive to provide you with as much support as you need when writing your resource. This guidance will range from providing you with
writing tips , project briefs, example publications when available and feedback on your resource, to help with using Microsoft Word and referencing.
All new writers recieve an Author Companion which details our publishing process and provides information to help you through the development of your resource.
When and how much do I get paid?
As standard we pay 12.5% yearly in October for the previous academic year of sales; however, it could be arranged that you receive a one-off payment for the resource.from 2014 Awards for the best resources, achieves 15% and 16% respectively; and Outstanding Author Awards for multiple publications receive one off bonuses.
Is this self-publishing?
No. We use our professional judgement and experience to judge the viability of publishing and marketing your resource. We invest a significant amount of time and money in marketing your resource, including writing and designing the advertising in both print and online, and we work with you to improve your work, as with any other traditional publisher. In fact we do more than most publishers, including direct distribution to customers and managing and enforcing site licences.
